Ever wanted to play fetch but doesn’t have a dog..? well not to worry because a Norwegian Engineer, Kare Halvorsen has invented a new kind of a robot that might be suitable for you. Robots can be Cute like a baby or mean like a terminator, but  This new MorpHex robot has the both because it has the ability to be a ball and a robot at the same time.

This Awesome New Robot Ball, AKA MorpHex has six retractable legs. so whenever u roll this ball away it will come crawling back to you by Using these legs. When designing MorpHex, Kare Halvorsen has used a Globe from Toys R Us. and also 25 servos, A basicmicro ARC-32 Board, and Xbee radio, A 2s 5000mah LiPo Battery pack and a turningly 8 amp Regulator.  MorpHex may look small to you but it actually is the size of a model  globe.

Currently the designers are working on making this robot to be able to roll in controlled direction. so with some more improvements, this robot will surely come to your apartment anytime soon.  take a look at the video  to get a good look at this awesome robot.
