People around the world are now starting to wonder whats apple is going to release next. While the iPhone 5 rumors are spreading all across the web, the professional analyst Gene Munster released a official note including his predictions about apple’s next releases.

Despite other rumors that Apple could release an expanded lineup of iPad models,  Piper Jaffray, analyst at Gene Munster says that we can expect a redesigned iPhone 5 to be released in midsummer and only one version of the iPad 3. Munster, in a note to investors reported by AppleInsider, suggests that Apple’s “base case” scenario will see it selling 142 million iPhone units through 2013, which represents an 18 percent increase in revenue from the previous year. “We expect buzz around a redesigned iPhone 5 to escalate in early ’12 until Apple launches it midway through the year. The iPhone 5, along with deeper penetration of cheaper iPhone models in more price sensitive markets, should drive higher-than-expected iPhone growth into ‘13,” Munster wrote in a note to clients.

Also There have been some reports that Apple had already begun production of the device with a release early 2012, and now there is talk that the iPad 3 release date is to coincide with Steve Jobs birthday.

As far as it seems Apple could very well release an iPad 2S alongside an iPad 3,  it is much more likely to remain on its current trajectory of a single model upgrade. but the Retina Display will certainly make its debut on the iPad this spring, but its not like Apple is looking to have multiple models or sizes to choose from. Although the redesigned iPhone might make a big deal in the market, only if they didn’t make the design worse.
