Meet Nick D’Aloisio: 16 Year Old Boy Genius

Teenagers of the current modern world are always looking for cool stuff. they spend much time thinking how to be cool or awesome. but Nick D’Aloisio a 16 year old south london teenager had a better things to do rather than worrying about being cool. he spent most of his time trying to develop a new mobile app. as a result Nick became world famous and now he is automatically awesome.

Mr D’Aloisio – the son of a lawyer and an investment banker, had a brilliant idea of creating a iPhone app which summarises and simplifies the content of web pages and search results. so finally, after much trying he made an great app and named it Summly.

“I was revising for a history exam and using Google, clicking in and out of search results, and it seemed quite inefficient. If I found myself on a site that was interesting I was reading it and that was wasting time, I thought that what I needed was a way of simplifying and summarising these web searches. Google has Instant Preview but that is just an image of the page. What I wanted was a content preview,” he said.

the app made a huge hit in the market as it got 30,000 downloads in its first week.

despite all the time he spent to code the app, nick has still managed to finish up his home work before the start-of-term. this also has surprised his teachers.

Nick is now looking forward to keep doing his contributions to the app world.
