The SPOT (Smart Personal Object Technology) Was Originally introduced by Bill Gates about a Year ago. this project was about using FM transmissions to deliver lightweight data services such as news headlines, sports scores, gas prices and weather to smart devices. it started with watches and then began to expand into GPS and other devices.

Back then this watch was a news breaker but  after every kinds of technologies  got into our palms with latest smartphones, the SPOT project is not so smart anymore. and the day before yesterday microsoft has officially announced of the end of this project as the sales of the products went down the market.
