Worm Steals 45k Facebook Passwords
According to security firm Seculert A computer worm has stolen 45,000 login credentials mainly from Facebook accounts in the UK and France.
As many of you facebook users may have already experienced having unusual posts and links on your profile must have already know what happens when they click on them. but in fact some of them even didn’t know what happened, even when all their personal data was stolen.
“We suspect that the attackers behind Ramnit are using the stolen credentials to login to victims’ Facebook accounts and to transmit malicious links to their friends, thereby magnifying the malware’s spread even further,” said the researchers on the Seculert’s labs blog.
facebook is now becoming more and more unsecured everyday. with these kinds of security problems in facebook, it’s never good to have a profile filled with your personal information. and because of these hacking and worm attacks most of the Facebook users are now turning to other social networks. Facebook need to do something about their security problems within this year before losing all of their users.
