Amazing Kinect-powered theme park In South Korea

Love playing games on your Xbox using Kinect? Then wait till you see this awesome theme park in South Korea. I guarantee you will definitely go crazy after taking  a tour inside this awesome theme park, which is entirely made based on the Kinect technology, featuring the world’s largest interactive 360 degree stereoscopic theatre.

New media entertainment company, “d’strict” recently opened this amazing Theme park in their homeland, using different types of advanced technologies combined to take you to the next level of virtual reality. After forcing you to wear a RFID wristband which allows displays to identify and detect movements, voices, and faces using the kinect technology, you will be directed to take the tour around a huge 10,000 sq. foot space. In this tour you will get to create an avatar of yourself to interact and play games inside the largest interactive 360 degree stereoscopic theatre in the world, while enjoying amazing holographic displays created by various artist around the world.

Live Park 4D World Tour” is now available to everyone in the world at KINTEX in Ilsan, Gyeonggi-do, Korea. Considering the success of this theme park the company is already making plans to take their technology overseas by Creating more of these theme parks in China and Singapore.

I’m not a big fan of the Kinect technology, but since the very moment I saw the video of this theme park, I’m dying to see inside this amazing place. Although they could have made this place much more attractive if it has a place like where people would get to interact and talk with famous characters in the history, imagine yourself talking with Albert Einstein, questioning about his inventions. Sounds great doesn’t it. Well, I know it needs a lot of work but nothing is impossible, right? Personally I think this technology can be used to create a  better learning curve rather than sticking with entertainment.
