Nokia Prepares to Fire 4000 Employees

For the past few years Nokia has been the best phone makers in the world, but after the invention of the smartphone and Android, they have began to fall down to the bottom of the consumer market, and now it seems like they are trying to survive in this field by cutting down few expenses.

According to Reuters, - Struggling Finnish phone maker Nokia plans to cut 4,000 more jobs at its plants in Finland, Hungary and Mexico as it seeks to cut costs by moving smartphone assembly work to Asia.

Personally I can understand cutting down the expenses to save some money but what they really should be doing now is to start doing more research and make projects to develop new ideas for their future devices. As far as it seems they are only improving their old devices and changing the looks from the outside, that is not the kind of thing people are expecting, specially from a major company like Nokia. Lets just hope they will come to their senses, soon.
