Anonymous Attacks on Several FTC Sites

Several websites that belongs to Federal Trade Comission has now became the latest victim of the Anonymous hacker group. Only a couple of weeks after attacking the FBI website’s, they have targeted the FTC site’s in-order show their stand against the newest Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement (ACTA) bill.

According to The Associated PressThe loosely organized collection of cyber rebels said it attacked the FTC’s consumer protection business center and the National Consumer Protection Week websites. Both sites were replaced with a violent German-language video satirizing the Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement, or ACTA.

The ACTA bill is still progressing towards its legalization’s, despite all the protests held thoughout the Europe last week. Obviously Anonymous must have decided to give a little head’s up for the US about what yet to come in their way.
