Android OS Conquers The UK
Apple might be making more sales with their iPad’s and iPhone’s, but still Android OS is most popular among all the people around the world. Also according to the recent reports it has been found that Android is more stable than any other mobile OS in the market. Which is why the reports from Kantar Worldpanel ComTech showed Android as the most popular smartphone OS in the UK.
According to this report from Kantar Worldpanel ComTech, Android has been responsible for nearly half the smartphone sales in the UK, showing a 36.9 percent share of smartphones market for the four weeks to the 23rd of January 2012, compared to last year, this is over 16 percent improvement of the shares. New report has also put the 28.5 percent share holder Apple iOS to the second place, followed by BlackBerry OS holding 18.1 percent of shares. Symbian OS seems to be falling behind as their shares dropped from 26.7% to 13.1%.
Android will always remain in the top of every list as long as they make plenty of free apps for the devices. Also things will boost up even high if the Android’s next update, Android 5.0: Jelly bean gets released this year as rumored.
