Recently I have brought you some amazing and also weird watch designs and concepts, to be honest none of them really catch my attention, because when it comes to wrist watches I like to go with analog watches instead of digital. After seeing this awesome  Seiko Astron watch I’ve made up my mind to order it for myself, its not just about the design, most interesting part is the technology inside it.

World famous watchmaker Seiko claims the “Astron” to be the world’s first GPS watch to come with Solar power, which is absolutely a brilliant technology to be used on a watch. So whats with this GPS thing? Well, that is the best part of this watch, with the help of global positioning system (GPS) your watch will automatically reset to the correct time whenever you travel to another country with a different time zone, and the use of Solar power means that you don’t even have to worry about replacing batteries for your watch anymore, it will get powered up automatically on the go.

Release date or pricing details hasn’t been revealed yet, but considering the technology and the awesomeness of the Seiko Astron GPS Solar watch, it will probably come up with an expensive price. Either way I’m definitely gonna get one, how about you?
