Anonymous-OS Released, Recruiting New Hackers?
The most famous hacker group, Anonymous has reportedly released an operating system of their own called Anonymous-OS. The hacker group is now encouraging everyone to download the OS, while providing many hacking tools and apps to let the users to check the security of web pages.
The Anonymous-OS is an Ubuntu-based distribution and created under Ubuntu 11.10 using the Mate desktop. Anonymous also says the OS is only made to let people check on the security of the web pages and tells not to hack into any website’s, but who would just ignore the possibilities of hacking when they have all the tools inside this OS, right?
Created for educational purposes,

The reason for them to release an Operating System still remains as a mystery, but I think they are just secretly giving a small hint for the users to join their team, or maybe they might try to recruit new hackers after they begin to use the new OS. Either way we cannot predict anything yet, but I’m sure this will become more popular around the PC users, as the OS has already been downloaded over 14,000 times since its release and it’s still increasing.
Os comes with the Anonymous DuckDuckGO search engine as the default and with some of the pre-installed apps including;
- ParolaPass Password Generator
- Find Host IP
- Anonymous HOIC
- Sql Poison
- Admin Finder
- John the Ripper
- Hash Identifier
