BBC Preparing To Launch A Digital Download Store
Rumors started to spread around the world about the BBC‘s secret Digital Store for the past few days, now finally BBC has responded to these rumors confirming their new approach to enter the digital world with a new ‘Digital Shop,’ allowing everyone to download permanent copies of their favorite BBC shows, but of course you would have to pay a fee to access the service.
According to a BBC report, Mark Thompson, director general of BBC, explained the service as a ”digital equivalent” of people buying a DVD of their favourite programme for a permanent collection.
“Digital Shop” is still on its way, but still no word about when they might release the service. Doctor Who fans might wanna check back here if you want to know when to download your digital copy of the show.
