$40 Dollar Akash 2 Android Tablet Arrives In This April

Good news for all the Indian people, the cheap $40 dollar Akash 2 Android Ubislate 7+ tablet is now reportedly heading out in this April, with the ambition to help all the Indian students to achieve more knowledge while integrating studies with latest the technology.

Considering the cheap price of $40 (~2000 Indian rupees), this Indian tablet arrives with lots of better features, including a 700 MHz ARM Cortex-A8 processor, 7-inch capacitive touchscreen display and a 3200mAh battery enough to power the tablet for about 3 hours. The specific Android version used for this device hasn’t been mentioned yet but from the looks of the image, it looks more like Android 2.3. Tablet is also said to feature Wi-Fi and GPRS.

I know it’s not as great as the new iPad or Samsung Galaxy Note, but for the affordable $40 dollar price, every ordinary person living in India would have a better chance of  make real their dream of having a tablet, or give a tablet to their little children to help them enter to the world of technology. India will be having a better tomorrow today. As a neighbor, I’m proud to see India leading technology in a way of their own.
