Facebook is a place where we play games, chat with friends, find friends and even fall in love, with over 800 millions of users Facebook still keeps getting bigger and better by improving and adding new features everyday. Now to provide its user with another new facility, a file transferring service for Facebook is on its way. This service comes with the odd and weird name of “Pipe”.
Facebook already handles file transfer via Facebook message attachments, although it still can’t be used to send and receive file with larger sizes. So this new service will enable you to send and receive bigger files between your friends more easily and safely just by using its drag and drop user interface. Pipe will arrive tomorrow on Facebook as a Beta version.
“We’re starting on Facebook because it gives us viral reach, a native iOS version of Pipe is waiting in the wings, currently in alpha stage, and the plan is to port that over to Android soon after.” said Simon Hossell, CEO of Pipe.
