Glowing Firefly Squid Lights Up Toyama Bay

Look at that beautiful beach lit up with amazingly glowing lights, can you imagine how much money would go to set-up something like that? And how is that even glow under water, that bright? Well, no need to be confused, those are not electric lights, they are living Firefly Squid found in Toyama Bay, Japan.

These amazing creatures are only three inches long and has a special organ named photophores, which helps them to produce this light. The Firefly Squid lives down 1200 feet underwater and when the season to they comes to the Toyama Bay to to fertilize and lay eggs, which causes the whole bay to be lit up with amazing light bulbs, well, organic of course.  Hit the source link below for more info.
