Official Need For Speed Film Coming Soon?
EA‘s Need For Speed is the most successful racing video game that has ever been made in the gaming history. To this day it still remains as the dominator of the racing games of all three platforms. But it looks like dominating the gaming industry is not enough for the Electronic Arts, which might be the reason for them to enter the film industry. According to the latest reports EA is now planning on making an official movie based on the successful game series “Need For Speed.”
Reports says that, EA has already hired producer John Gatins and writer George Gatins to begin working on this movie and Warner Bros., Sony and Paramount companies are already seems to be interested in making this movie. It will only be a matter of time before EA picks a company to start fire up this movie.
Every NFS game had a great story behind it, NFS Most Wanted was the most successful and my personal favorite game of all. Still the story line would have to be much stronger than just a simple racing story to beat other great movies like Fast And Furious. Although no one would say no to another great movie with lots of awesome cars, right?
