YouTube has recently announced that they are officially allowing the users to start making money with their videos, rather than getting some Google ads covered all over the place.

You now have a guided flow to set up and preview live events before you go live. You can also see real time access to data like playbacks and concurrent viewers of your live streams by geography and format.

With these new improvements, users now have a chance to monetize their live streaming events with advertising or paid options, but as a downsize other users wont gonna be able to view those live streaming event on YouTube for free, anymore. For now this will only be available for the existing users from 20 selected countries, while Google is working to make it available for other countries as well.
