Google Chrome is undoubtedly the most powerful and the fastest browser in the world. I’m not saying that because I’m using it, I’m only saying that because I’ve already compared it with other browsers and the end result made me choose Chrome over other browsers. This report from the internet monitoring firm Pingdom will only prove that to you.

According to this report Google Chrome 18 leads the list of top 10 most popular browsers in the world by taking 25.6% of the total share, followed by Firefox 11 with 15.8% and Microsoft’s Internet Explorer 9 with 15.7%.

Although the story in North America is a little different because the Internet Explorer 9 is leading the scoreboard there with  21.2%, beating Google Chrome 18  with only 1%.

Still Microsoft is the leading browser around the world with the largest worldwide market share, mostly because it comes as the default browser with Windows OS.
