Panasonic and NHK have teamed up to bring out a revolutionary and gigantic TV into the market. Yesterday, they have announced this new 145-inch prototype plasma TV, which claims to be the world’s first self-illuminating Super Hi-Vision TV.
This TV features an 8K resolution giving 7,680 x 4,320 pixels. Sadly, it’s still in development and what you see above is only a prototype of the television. Although the NHK is already planning to display this new TV at its open house in May. So we can expect to see more of it very soon.
Price of this TV would definitely get as bigger than the size. But imagine watching a Blueray movie on the screen. I’m definitely gonna quit going to a cinema if I could get a TV like this. Although I will have to build a bigger room for this.
