“World’s Largest Tortoise Found In Amazon” Facebook Hoax Goes Viral
A funny new image is being shared all over Facebook these days and the story is becoming very popular. Everyday more and more people are falling to this prank and starts sharing this image with their friends. Image caption says that it’s the largest tortoise in the world. Well, I don’t like to be guy to ruin your excitement but, it’s really not what it seems. It’s only a hoax that some pranksters have used to promote themselves.
“Guy’s the World’s largest Tortise found in Amazon sea its age around 529 /Hieght-59/Weight- 800 Pounds Incredible Naturality Please spread this Info to all over the World.” The post caption says.
The image is actually a snapshot taken from the Japanese fantasy movie called “Gamera the Brave”, which you can check out by clicking here. There is also a video going viral related to this same largest tortoise thread. But if you look closer you will see that it’s totally a fake video, just like that fake Quadcopter video we saw earlier.
For your information. The real world’s largest tortoise is the Galapagos Tortoise, which lives in the Galapagos Islands. They weighs about 320 kg’s and lives about 150 years. You can find more info this tortoise through the source link below.
