Lenovo ThinkCentre M72e and M92p Tiny Desktops Unveiled

Lenovo has officially unveiled two new desktops, ThinkCentre M92p and M72e tiny, which comes in remarkably smaller sizes to save up space on your desk. M92p is the main model that comes measuring 1.4 inch think, as small as the size of a golf ball. Along with the announcement, the company have also unveiled the ThinkVision LT2323z 23-inch wide monitor that offers an improved VoIP experience.

In addition to the thin stylish design, Lenovo ThinkCentre M92p and M72e includes an Intel 3rd Gen Core Ivy Bridge processors, integrated graphics,  WiFi and Lenovo’s Enhanced Experience 3 for Windows 7 (EE3). Other specs and details are yet to be revealed.

Lenovo ThinkCentre M72e will get a price tag of $499 while the The ThinkCentre M92p Tiny get priced at  $799. Both these models will head out in this June.

      I haven’t used it personally, so I’m not sure about that. But the specs seems more than enough to run Ubuntu very smoothly.

      I am a long term Linux user and know that the spec is fine but you miss the point. Does the sound chip work with Pulseaudio and the default drivers? Does the Ethernet controller work out of the box? Stuff like that. …

        I’m afraid I can’t help you there. You should contact either Canonical or Lenovo for further details.

        BTW this Ubuntu page shows that this computer is certified for Ubuntu 12.04 64bit. Including Audio, Network drivers.

          Though so too, I’ve seen certified things not work though so fancied a clarify :)
