Facebook Introduces App Center, All The Cool Social Apps In One Place
The social networking giant, Facebook announced a new feature for their network, the App Center. This new feature offers all the Facebook users to browse and find the top social apps within one place and download them easily, including apps like Draw Something, Pinterest, Spotify, Battle Pirates, and Viddy. You can access the App Center through either the web or the iOS and Android Facebook apps.
According to Facebook, The App Center is designed to grow mobile apps that use Facebook . They are also giving a great chance for all the app developers to add their apps to this market. Developers can start creating an app detail page now, while Facebook promises to roll out the App Center in the coming weeks.
As great as this may sound, I don’t think this will ever make any challenge to huge market places like iTunes and Google Play. Compared to them, Facebook is only a little toddler.
