Panasonic Covers Tokyo River With 100,000 LEDs

Sumida River in Tokyo, Japan recently started to glow in the color blue. People started to gather around, wondering whats happening to the river. Well, nothing to be afraid, it’s not the end of the world. Actually, Panasonic was the people behind this, trying to get a little attention of the crowd. They’ve sent 100,000 solar-powered LEDs down this river to mimic the fireflies and the Japanese traditions of floating candles on the water.
To be honest, these LED‘s are nothing compared to those real glowing Firefly Squids that we saw at the Toyama Bay in the earlier post. Now that was the true natural beauty.
