Stuff from ZergNet
A Japanese company has found a new way to clean up hard drives within a second and they have succeeded in developing a new microwave-like device called DataKiller, which does exactly what the name says. Just putting the hard drive in there will wipe out all data on the entire disk, totally clean and without harming the device.
I’ve spent months or years to secure up all the data on my hard drives. I even take pre-cautions before making a little space on the hard drive and I never mess with the partition where all my TV shows are on, specially not the one with Star Trek. So, I don’t know about you guys, but I wont be going anywhere near this DataKiller thing.
Check out the video to see an introduction.
