This mission is only a demonstration flight made by the Space Exploration Technologies ( SpaceX) to show their ability and prove that they can continue the contract with NASA to launch cargo safely to the International Space Station, becoming the first private company to do so.
SpaceX will now begin more flights to the ISS later this year for their $1.6 billion cargo transportation deal with NASA making 12 missions of delivering 44,000 pounds of cargo and supplies to the ISS.
