Behold The 50-Gigapixel Camera
It may not look like your handy little digital camera, but this gigantic camera, which packs 98 cameras on board is said to be one of the most powerful camera’s in the world today. Your tiny digital camera with 20-megapixels cant even get close to this because this camera has a resolution of up to 50-gigapixels.
The amazing camera comes from engineers at Duke University and the University of Arizona. Funny thing is that the idea for this camera has been inspired by LEGO bricks. This is only a prototype camera, which measures 2.5 x 2.5 x 1.6 feet (76 x 76 x 51 cm). Obviously this will get smaller and possibly it would even fit into your smartphone too. But that’s not gonna happen anytime soon.
