Portable gaming, or mobile gaming is one of the most popular gaming platform’s that we have today. Increasing number of mobile games and handheld titles are the perfect example for the development of mobile gaming. Nintendo has always been one step ahead in the portable gaming field and now they are back with the latest Nintendo 3DS XL.
Nintendo has finally unveiled their new portable gaming device, Nintendo 3DS XL. This one comes packed with glasses-free 3D technology, and goes way beyond the previous Nintendo 3DS and their rival PlayStation Vita. The double -screened device has a 4.88-inch 3D screen on top and a 4.18-inch touchscreen below, running on 240 x 800 and 240 x 320 resolution. It measures 156 x 93 x 22 mm and will feature a 4GB SD card.
It’s not exactly the revolutionary handheld that we’ve been waiting for, but Nintendo is hoping to make this a challenge for its’ rival Sony PlayStation Vita handled. Could this really make a difference?
New and larger handheld comes in two different names. Nintendo 3DS LL, which is scheduled to land in Japan on July 28th for 18,900 yen and the Nintendo 3DS XL that goes on sale in the US on August 19 for $200.
