We’ve received the very first trailer for the upcoming movie, Dredd (2012). Based on the popular comic book, this new Dredd movie will hold an entirely new story line from the previous 1995 movie. This time Karl Urban will portray the hero role as Judge Dredd.

Personally I love the first look of this movie. Trailer is packed with action and intense futuristic scenes. I haven’t read any Dredd comics, but I did watch the previous Dredd movie of Sylvester Stallone. And from the looks of this trailer, this movie will definitely beat the previous one with hands down. Actions, visual effects and big guns makes this movie looks perfect. Except for one thing, Dredd’s helmet. It just looks too dorky. Don’t you think? For this era we except to see something with style, like Batman’s mask. This helmet looks like a upside-down coconut shell.
