Yesterday, during the I/O 2012 conference, Google proudly took the wraps off of their long-awaited Google Nexus 7 tablet, putting an end to all the rumor madness. With this beautiful and stylish tablet, Google officially took its’ first step towards the tablet battleground. Is this the challenging tablet that everyone’s been waiting for? Could this make a challenge to Apple iPad or Microsoft Surface? Lets find out.
Google Nexus 7 tablet comes fully-packed with great features and it’s one of the best and affordable tablet’s that would easily fit into anyone’s pocket. It gets powered by a NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor, along with 1 GB of RAM, a 7-inch display with 1280 X 800 resolution and the latest Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system. But this is not enough to compete with Retina display technologies, powerful rear camera’s and super-sized display’s. Clearly Google wasn’t expecting to challenge Apple iPad with this tablet.
Google Nexus 7 tablet has been tagged with a $199 price. Does this price tag remind you of any other tablet that recently made huge sales during the last holiday season? Yes, the Amazon Kindle Fire is the closest one we could get. Real battle is going to be between Nexus 7 and Kindle Fire tablets. So, which one is the best? See for yourself.
Both these tablets will make a close competition in the tablet market. But the Google Nexus 7 is clearly way ahead of Kindle Fire. Although lets not forget that Amazon is already preparing to bring out their next-gen Kindle Fire, which would definitely come with better specs and features. Until then, lets enjoy the power of the Android Jelly Bean and stunning 12‐core GPU visuals on the Google Nexus 7 tablet.
