Greek Olympic Athlete Sent Back Home After Racist Tweet
Twitter is one of the famous places on the Internet, where we have to be extra careful to keep our mouths shut. Recent incidents of people going to jail over tweets have provided enough examples for us to be more careful when tweeting. Seems like the Greek triple jumper Voula Papachristou has forgot about that rule, which actually caused her to go back home without even participating for the Olympic event.

“With so many Africans in Greece. At least the mosquitoes of West Nile will eat homemade food!” She tweeted via her Twitter account. Somehow Olympic Committee found this very inappropriate and racist for mocking African immigrants in her country. So, she was banned from the 2012 Summer Olympic games and sent back to her homeland.
