When we travel around the world, we can find some strange places that we never even imagine in science fiction movies. This group of volcanic islands  in Japan called Izu Islands is one of those places that could easily creep out anyone, because everyone living in these islands have to wear gas masks for most of their day.

In the year 2000, residents of Izu Islands were evacuated  due to volcanic activity and the large amount of sulphur in the air. But in 2005 they were allowed to move back to the area, under one condition. That they had to wear gas masks or at least carry one around, in case of volcanic activity.

Take these people for an example before you think you live on the edge.
