Apple TV Box To Feature Cloud DVR and iPad-like Interface [Rumor]
Only months after releasing the new Apple TV box back in March 2012, Apple is now rumored to be bringing out a new cable set-top-box with few cool features including a cloud DVR feature and with an iPad-like interface.
According to latest reports from Wall Street Journal, Apple’s new TV box will feature streaming DVR capabilities to allow its users to watch any show at any time. But sadly you wont get a chance to record those shows. New device will also include a much simpler interface with iOS icons to remove the boring interface on current cable boxes.
Bringing out such a device with these features wont be easy for Apple, specially when they have to make new deals with broadcasting companies to make this cloud-based feature happen. Not to mention the competition they have with networks and TV Box providers such as Roku.
