We’ve seen pretty amazing robots from around the world that can do some impressive stuff. But have you ever seen a robot that can change color? Well, a group of researchers at the Harvard University have managed to make a cool new robot that can change color to camouflage itself.
The project was led by professor George Whitesides. This robot was actually made similar to animals that has soft bodies like squid and octopus. Thanks to 3-D-printed color layers, and lots of other complicated technologies, including infrared, color liquids and camouflage techniques, this robot can change its color like a chameleon.
Researchers says that this is only the beginning of their project. They have plans to improve this technology to make bigger and better things to help mankind in the future, possibly to even help with rescue missions and many other situations.
