Things Apple Forgot To Include in The iPhone 5

Apple’s new iPhone 5 went up for pre-order last night. And it was all sold out within just one hour. You must be feeling lucky if you’ve managed to pre-order the device early. But did you know the iPhone is not so shiny on the inside as it look from the outside? There are lots of features missing on this device, which are already available on other smartphones.

NFC (Near Field Communications) Capability

iPhone 5 does not support NFC. Instead Apple has included their own new Passbook system to allow users to make payments using the iPhone, which doesn’t even work with PayPal. And it also cant beam content between devices like Galaxy S3.

SD card support

If you get either the 16GB or the 64GB of the iPhone 5, you will be suck with it forever because it doesn’t have any slots for SD cards to expand the memory, unlike Galaxy S3.

Wireless Charging

Apple iPhone 5 comes with a new micro docking connector, which requires its’ own special cable, replacing the old USB cable. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if they could just cut the crap and bring out a charging station to support wireless charging like the Nokia’s Lumia 920.

Faster Processor

Samsung Galaxy S3 comes with a killer quad-core processor. Now Apple said the new iPhone 5 is much faster than the old iPhone 4S. But they the processor in this new smartphone will probably be just a dual-core because if there was a new processor, they would definitely brag about it during the event.

Cool New Design

Despite the long time they took to bring out the new iPhone 5, it has the same old looks as the iPhone 4S. Only a little taller. Everyone mocks this tall design these days. Yeah, it’s that obvious. Apple’s brain went down the drain after the loss of Steve Jobs. Now they are just stretching out the same old design concepts. You can see for yourself on the image on top.

Do you feel lucky now? Still think its worth buying?
