Nokia Says Their WP8 Map System is Better Than Apple’s

Nokia was among the first people to point and laugh at Apple, when all the flaws in their iOS 6 map system were exposed to the world.  Nokia took this as an opportunity to mention their new map system and brag about their new Nokia Lumia 920 smartphone, comparing its’ capabilities with iPhone 5.

Through an official blog post, Nokia mentioned few cool features of their latest map system that can’t be found on either Google maps or iOS 6 map system, which includes the ability to work offline on more than 100 countries, augmented reality features like the City Lens and many more.

Nokia also remembered to hint at Google and Apple.“Unlike our competitors, which are financing their location assets  with advertising or licensing mapping content from third parties, we completely own, build and distribute mapping content, platform and apps.”  It’s kind of like their way of saying, ‘in your face’. Surely, Nokia’s new Lumia 920 smartphone gives a great competition in the great smartphone war. Our recent smartphone comparison proved it well.
