Parkour or freerunning are some of the coolest things I love to watch all the time, right next to skateboarding and moto-X racing. Some expert free runners often get some really geeky ideas to make their run more unique. Those videos are the most fun to watch. I recently saw a video of an ‘Assassin’s Creed’ cosplayer doing parkour in awesome style and now I just saw another one that I couldn’t ignore but to share with you guys. In this one we get to meet two of the most beloved game characters of all time, Mario and Luigi doing parkour in real life portrayed by Christian Russell and Ronnie Shalvis.
According to the Salt Lake Tribune, the idea was imagined by the producers Brothers Casen and Landon Sperry and Mike Brown. ”Somehow Mario and Luigi had never been linked with parkour before, even though that’s basically what they do. We decided if we were the first, people would love it.” Casen Sperry told TSLT.
These guys not only goes jumping off buildings but they also go through tunnels, smash evil turtles and collecting coins. Heck, they even goes into space. And yes, they do it all to that sweet music from Mario Bros. video game. Without doubt this is the geekiest parkour video I’ve ever seen. Check it out after the jump.
