You may have enjoyed The Fappening when hundreds of nude celebrity photos leaked online, but the truth is it’s not that fun when it happens to you. If you’re a Gmail user, you could be next. A Russian hacker has leaked a massive list full of usernames and passwords of 4.93 million Gmail users through a Russian Bitcoin forum. Odds are you may be among them.

Although, there’s no need to panic. Google says that there were no sign of breach on its databases and even if there were a breach they would take necessary precautions to protect its users.

“The security of our users’ information is a top priority for us,” a Google spokesperson told TNW. “We have no evidence that our systems have been compromised, but whenever we become aware that accounts may have been, we take steps to help those users secure their accounts.”

Despite Google’s guarantee, you should probably go ahead and change your Gmail password just to be on the safe side. And while you’re at it, try turning on the 2-Step Verification. It will make your account rock solid and almost impossible to hack.
